3D metal printing
3D metal printing
3D metal printing is the second generation of additive manufacturing high-tech molding technology. It is capable of producing products that are very complex in structure and cannot be completed by conventional processing techniques. The product is manufactured in a special equipment using layer-by-layer technology.

This unique approach to production allows product designers to choose internal structures such as the accompanying cold runners and lattice structures that retain weight while retaining product strength. Since this production process is completely computer controlled, modifications to the design can be done quickly and easily without adding additional cost, making it easy to test different versions of the product in a short period of time. 3D metal printed materials can be selected from stainless steel, aluminum alloys and titanium alloys.

The vacuum molding is a rapid prototyping method based on prototypes, using a silicone mold to replicate about 50 pieces of product. The level of detail, quality and surface finish of the replica depend on the quality of the prototype.

Vacuum overmolding allows designers to have more material choices to implement their design concepts – either hard or soft, colored or transparent. We can even synthesize two or more different types of materials in one mold using an overmolding process.
